Mysterious Cloud Destroys Rio De Janeiro

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On September 24, 2024, a gigantic floating animal was spotted hovering over Christ the Redeemer. Immediately, military airplanes were sent towards it just as a precaution, but the animal flung them into space! The animal was 20 by 22 by 25 stories in perimeter, and had somehow gotten hold of a nuclear missile. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva launched a State of National Emergency, but it was too late. Rio de Janeiro was blown up, killing over 13.8 million people and devastating the air quality of the surrounding areas. Now, the entire world is panicking.  

At 5:30pm (GMT-3), many people were gathering to go to the Adoration Ceremony at the Christ the Redeemer church. It started getting cloudy, but then people realized it was really an animal surrounding the famous statue. People started realizing that the cloud was moving rapidly, and someone pointed out that the cloud had eyes. Many started screaming and dashing away, while others stayed in curiosity to watch. When the ‘cloud’ started knocking down the head of Christ the Redeemer, the chaos began as everyone ran for their lives, and Christ the Redeemer started to crumble. 

“It was the most terrifying moment of my life,” says witness Donald Rump who is running for President of the United States of America. “I was just there for a quick break from the campaign trail for Luiz’s birthday. This was even more horrifying than the two assassination attempts. But we’re going to get this thing.” Past President Trump and current Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva were whisked away to safety by the Secret Service in a helicopter.

Helicopter pilot Captain Alexander Groznyy added, “I could feel a force pulling the helicopter back toward Christ the Redeemer. We only barely made it out because the military airplanes came at that moment. I was shocked and devastated when I saw they were flung into space with little chance of survival. We are currently searching for signs of them.”

Captain Groznyy gave some further details on what he saw. ”The animal looked like a white floating cloud that had its own mind. I am not even sure it was an animal. I don’t know what it was. I’ve heard myths about something like this, but never expected to be piloting a helicopter hoping not to die!” No one else alive has had any further sightings of this strange animal but officials are reviewing satellite footage. 

Cryptoscientist Peter Baughman, who recently discovered the new amphibian species Torpie, has some ideas about the cloud animal. He believes it is not an animal but a chemical reaction.  There was a recent chemical spill at one of the top secret laboratories in Rio and it might have combined with changes in the water cycle from climate change. 

There are still multiple questions unanswered. Some are almost impossible to answer like: how did the cloud chemical reaction get hold of a nuclear missile since Brazil doesn't even have one? What is it planning to do next and how can we stop it? 

We conclude that a new creature or a chemical reaction has blown up Rio De Janeiro. We’ll have more updates for you on this incredible yet dangerous situation.
