Hey, it’s me, Bob. I am here to address the ongoing problem of “Sephora Kids” , or kids that destroy the testers at your local Sephora. These kids are mostly “Gen Alphas” , which is the generation of kids born from 2010-2024. In case you didn't know what Sephora is, it is a store selling various makeup and skincare brands, such as Drunk Elephant and Glow Recipe. These “Sephora Kids” can also be found in other makeup stores, such as Ulta Beauty. And now, a word from a dermatologist, Bobette Bobby!
This is Bobette, a dermatologist reporting live from BOB News! As Bob has just said, these “Sephora Kids” are walking along the aisles of Sephora, stealing products and destroying testers. This is actually great of them being interested in skincare, because as a pre-teen, you are setting up habits for later in life. However, some products are not safe for their young, bright skin, such as retinols. They don’t need that yet. Glycolic acid products are great, but should be recommended by dermatologists. Kids and pre-teens should stick to a simple cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen that is at least SPF 30. Brands I recommend are: Neutrogena, Cetaphil, Cerave, and EverEden. So watch out, because if you are shopping at Sephora and notice that the testers are ruined, be aware that this might be the work of “Sephora Kids”.
