“So,” Sonia was saying, “I am now this great powerful god that rules over all the other gods and will have to do the same amount of work I would have done if I was not chosen?” Sonia was now wearing a white and gold business suit in a white and gold office room. This would now be her work room. She would not be going into the workforce and she will not be doing the play. At this point she had forgotten about it. She was surrounded by a lot of people who she did not know.
A person wearing a silver robe that kind of looks like a very simple toga walked up and said, “Yes, your highness,” in a very matter of fact way. “I am Nicholas Alexander and I am your new attendant.”
Sonia frowned. She was a little confused by the short introduction. “You don’t have any other names, nicknames, codenames, titles, anything?”
“I am Nicholas Alexander. I am your attendant, secretary, and anything else. ” That did not help Sonia at all. She could tell he was not human but that was all. She did not know what to do with him.
“Okay, Nicholas Alexander. No, no. I will not call you that. You will be Nik with a K because your name is too long.”
“Yes, your highness.”
“And stop with the “your highness.” I am not from a higher family or anything of the sort.”
“Yes.”
By this time all the other people left. Sonia could not tell when though. It was like they disappeared. She still did not understand anything. When she first got here, she was told that she was to rule all the other gods and would have to go on dangerous missions. She was now responsible for the safety of the major realms. But why her? Shouldn’t it be from someone in a royal family? She wasn’t anyone important. They (the people who dragged her) told her it just chose someone. “So, Nik. What are you? I don't mean to be rude but I want to know.”
Nik responded almost immediately. “I am an aquafeily. We are like wandering spirits that don’t wander. We help protect the realms and don’t really feel emotions as much as others. Our realm is in a pond area with some grasslands. It is very peaceful there.” He seemed very happy talking about it.
“So, what am I supposed to do now?” Sonia asked.
“Wait for something to happen where you have to go fix things.” After Nik said that, he then made Sonia wait there for the entire day. Then made her come back the next day and the next. This went on for about a week in Realm Zero. She was getting bored out of her mind. Nothing was happening so she decided to do a “jailbreak.” She thought everything was going to be fine. The next day she would go to work at 5 am like normal and stay there until 8 pm. During that time, she would make a plan and all the while complain about the long work hours. The day after that she would not go. She followed through with her plan. Nothing went wrong. Everything was great. That was not true. Someone came with a problem. A very big problem.
